Dr. Patricia Polling will discuss current local healthcare updates in SW Florida. She will focus on women’s reproductive rights post the failed Florida Amendment 4; the 2024 citizen-initiated ballot measure that proposed to limit government interference with abortion. In addition, Dr. Poling will address the vaccine controversy that has had real consequences close to home with the measles outbreak in Ava Maria.
Dr. Polling will inform us about “Hill” days; when and how to speak to our elected representatives. Also, her daughter, Rosie, is versed on global issues of maternal and child healthcare and what the changes in USAID funding means now.
Dr. Poling graduated from Harvard University and Columbia University as an MD and is certified in both Internal and Pediatric Medicine. She has practiced in the Naples area for 20 years with the Cleveland Clinic, Physician’s Regional and since 2009 with Millennium Physician group.
